Pugloween Meetup 2008

Mom's posting today because we have a lot of pictures from yesterday's meetup in the park. Since it was the day after Howl-oween, a lot of pugs came in costume. We didn't have costumes for our pugs, but they wore the shirts I made for them. Unfortunately Pippin's didn't make it to the park...he wiggled his way out of it just going from the house to the car! But here he is with Jasmine before we left the house. In case you're wondering, the pug thing on the right is the fleece jacket I made for myself a couple of years ago...
Here's Eli looking so suave in his skeleton shirt...

And cute little Bernice...

We got to the park early, but other pugs were arriving at the same time. Here our pugs (Ernie on top busting out of his shirt...what a sexy dog) are checking out a pirate pug.

The cute little pug in the pink harness is just a puppy. What a cutie!

Apollo the frog prince...

Carson and Jill were Thing 1 and Thing 2...That was so clever! The frog prince is checking them out...

Kelly and Brian brought this pug-kin that they had carved the night before. I want that template for next year Kelly!

Kelly is getting the pugs and bugg ready for their big debut. Notice Harley checking out Bernice...could this be a match???

They are the threeeeeee amigos...

Denny got this artsy shot of a pug on a fall day. I thought it was a pretty cool picture...

Roscoe the frug...

Here's a great picture of Salinger the watch dog...too bad he wasn't alert enough to see Elvis sneaking up on his butt...

Spider-pug, spider-pug, does whatever a spider-pug does...

Kelly was so excited that the 3 amigos won the best costume prize! They got this really cute little puggy bank!

Cute little hippie pugs...Pugs, not drugs!!!

Here's Pippin being checked out...

Jasmine's close-up...

Thing 1...

Argh matey...

Dixie showing off her beautiful smile...

Eli and Sophie checking out the new girl that Ernie took an interest in...I believe her name is Lucy...she was a little heartbreaker...

Did someone say treats? Apollo's mom made homemade pug treats and they were a hit!

Brian, the proud papa of the 3 amigos, showing some love. So which one was Martin Short???

Salinger's human brother sharing some treats with the pugs...check out the Mer-pug!

Salinger's mom, Laura, chillin' out with four-fifths of the pug posse...

The hippie pugs hanging out with the devil...
The bloggers, me Kelly and Laura, posing with all of our pugs. I had a little trouble holding on to 5 pugs, so Laura helped out with Jasmine. But I still had my hands full and Eli attacked me with his tongue!
Lilo came dressed as a retired Hooters girl!

It was such an exhausting day...Bernice passed out in the car on the way home!

Sorry to take so long to post the pictures. I know Eli is anxious to post his thoughts (it won't be a very long blog), so he'll be posting sometime in the next couple of days.
Pug kisses to all!
