Veteran's Day

Happy Veteran's Day! Mommy assured us that this is not a day to celebrate the doctor that puts us up on that cold metal table and gives us shots in the butt! She said it's about the people who are protecting this country that we live in. People like Grandpa who had to go to Viet Nam before Mommy was even born. He went as a surgeon and worked in an Evac hospital. He doesn't like to talk about his year over there very much, but we appreciate what he did anyway.

It's kind of a lazy day here. At least the sun was kind of shining yesterday, but it's been cold and rainy today. Snuggling on the couch snoozing sounded like a good idea...

But then Mommy came home from work and made us go outside! What was she thinking??? We went pretty fast and then insisted on going back inside.

Jasmine doesn't even like to step off the porch when it's wet and rainy. But she'll let Mommy know when she has to go again.

Bernice never knows what to think. Sometimes we wonder if any thoughts go through her pretty little head at all...

Here are the boys gathered around Mommy at the computer desk. Doesn't it look like Eli is actually smiling? (He's the one in the middle.) It's kind of a Scooby Doo smile...

Well, we hope everyone had a good Veteran's Day. Mommy said they call it Rememberance Day in Canada, so we hope everyone had a good Rememberance Day too! And we hope the weather is better where you are... If it was a little colder here it would have snowed! Mommy thinks pugs running through snow are funny...we can't wait to get some pictures in the snow to see if she's right!
