Waiting for Saturday...

Hello friends! This is Big Ern. I finally got Mommy to let me post again. I just have to say that we are so very excited about this coming Saturday. Kentuckiana Pug Rescue is hosting an event called "March in the pugs". It is going to be in Lebanon, IN, which is a short drive northwest of our lovely city of Indianapolis. It is sure to be an exciting time filled with games, shopping, our dear friends, and most importantly, helping the puggies.

Mommy wants me to mention that silly Gus will be joining the Posse permanently. He is not a "velcro-pug", but instead he is a "super-glue pug"! He has won Mommy's heart and he will be staying here with us. So he will be joining us on Saturday as an actual member of the Pug Posse instead of just an honorary one. Eddie, however, has still not completely convinced Mommy that he should be a full-fledged member of the Posse. Daddy has fallen for him, but his puppy-ness drives Mommy insane. I have a feeling he may be staying because every time Mommy talks about him being adopted, Daddy gets the sad puppydog eyes.

Here is Gus...he is handsome fellow, but he has this enormous tongue that always hangs out of his mouth. And he only uses it to give Mommy big wet kisses instead of assisting in the grooming of the rest of the Posse... Well, he does look rather happy here...
This was Gus chasing his tail. Isn't he a bit old for that game? Personally, I think he may be a bit lacking in the brains department, but if Mommy loves him, that's good enough for me...
Sophie would be so proud of this noseguard...
Here is Jasmine flossing her teeth so that she has an extra beautiful smile. Not that she needs any help being beautiful...
Mommy tried to take a picture of Pippin who was sitting under her chair at the computer desk. As you can see, I didn't want to be left out of the picture...
Here is Gus showing off his tongue again. Mommy is really taking a lot of pictures of him and not nearly enough pictures of yours truly.
Here I am making sure that Bernice's ears are clean. Mommy said it is sweet the way I have my paw on Neecy's paw. I guess I am a good brother...
As you can see, Eli is very tired. He has been practicing extra hard for the Best Kisser contest. He hopes to finally defeat his nemesis, Rocco.
Ahhhhh...time to unwind and get a good night's sleep...
Even Gus is ready for some rest...the tail will still be there to chase tomorrow...
We are some lucky pugs getting to snuggle on Mommy and Daddy's pillows...
Zzzzzzzzz.....
Pippin and I bid you adieu and sweet dreams...
Pug hugs and kisses,
Ernie and the Pug Posse

Congratulations on your new permanent member.

And we're sure your mom will change her mind about Eddie. Puggies grow out of puppy-ness, right? (our Mommy sure hopes so since Daisy is still crazy)

Have a great time at the event this weekend!

Congrats to Gus! My mom thinks your mom is awesome. How many pugs are you up to now? She thinks Gus reminds her of the pug who came before, Bridget. We think that Eddie may stay as well, as it would make your daddy sad if he left.

Hi buddies!
So happy for you all and for Gus! You are such a sweet and happy family. I love seeing your pictures and reading about your adventures.
I was so sorry to hear about that mean Stuart Little - but seriously, don't even spare another thought for him.
(He's just a mouse, isn't he?!)
