Working with the Snuggle Puggle

Whew...we have a new task today...teaching Eddie how to be a pug. I thought this job was supposed to be about snuggling! All right, we'll work on Eddie...he needs a LOT of work ;-)

Here I am, Big Ern, trying to show Eddie how to be happy and have fun... Yo, Eddie...over here Man! How can we teach you if you're not going to pay attention???While taking the pictures, we got another orb that may be Sidney trying to help us out...look almost in the center, but a little to the right... Ok, the big task ahead of us is getting this pug fattened up. Here is how we eat...follow our lead...Wait, Jasmine, why are you hiding? Or are you guarding the fridge until Mommy gets ready to make dinner?Pippin is obviously a pro at eating...here he is showing his full face in the bowl technique...he's trying to work up the nerve to ask Sophie to be his girlfriend, now that the truth has come out about Salinger...Eli is telling Eddie about how he was able to go from rib-showing-skinny to full, handsome pug...Next lesson...as pugs, it is our solemn duty to get on top of the couch and keep watch for any treats that may fall on the floor. We can see the entire room from this vantage point...Look everyone...I think he's getting the hang of it!The girls are still marvelling at how Eddie actually sat on command for a treat this evening! Mommy was so excited! She thinks that's a new record in this house...wait a minute...what's that supposed to mean? I was very quick to pick up on the "sit" command... Eli is supervising as Eddie plays with a toy...it's actually one of Mommy's stuffed pugs, but he seems to enjoy it so much so she lets him play with it... Eddie is such a good learner that it made our jobs pretty easy today! Now to get back to our regularly scheduled snuggling... Pug hugs and kisses!

WOW! Y'all were working very hard! Who was Sidney? Was she a pug? I know Eddie will have everything down pat in no time! It looks like y'all already taught him well! Keep up the great work!

You are all working very hard to help Eddie. Mom says she is so proud of all of you. We are very happy that Eddie seems to be settling in and learning to be a pet and not just a stud.

PS Pippin, go for it with Sophie. Poems and music really helps, as long as the poems are sincere.

I am so glad to see Eddie fitting right in!

I never knew a pug could sprain an ankle either but I am relieved to know Gus didn't break anything!

Your blog is amazing - like pug-land! I love how you narrate it. Just a pug-loving artist, but want to thank you for this!

I's so happy to see Eddie learning how to be a pug. It took me a little while - he should learn fast with so many good teachers! Good work puggies!!!!
