Hi! Jasmine here...Mommy asked me to show you our penguin ornaments. I don't know why she likes penguins so much. She's been collecting penguins for a long time and she has quite a few on the tree...

This one is actually a puffin, not a penguin, but it's one of Mommy's favorites. As you can see, it's older than me! I was born in 2001, so this thing is, like, really old! This one isn't as old as me...
This is another one of Mommy's favorites...it's Opus from Bloom County. His undies say "Merry Christmas"! Tee hee! Well, that was an easy post. Penguins don't require a lot of explaining.

Pug Ornaments

Hello friends! We want to share some of our pug Christmas ornaments with you today! We have a few themes on the tree, but we'll just cover the pugs today. We also have penguins (I've been collecting penguins, not just ornaments, for a long time), Colts, and Hilton Head/dolphins/lighthouses/anything that reminds us of Hilton Head...

I got a set of picture frame ornaments one year from a work gift exchange a long time ago (over 10 years) and I have used them for pug pictures. This is our beloved Sidney whom we lost in July. This will be our first Christmas without him :-(

Ok, this is probably the ugliest ornament we have...it's just kind of creepy...but it's a pug, so it always goes on the tree...I got one of our Hilton Head ornaments in this pic too...

Imagine that...a picture of a pug! This was taken on September 6 at night. It is Eli sitting on my lap on the couch. Eli had been to his first Meetup that day and we had so much fun showing him off. We met Sophie and Dixie and their parents that day too (they didn't have Harley yet and we didn't have Ernie and Bernice yet). Not the most exciting picture, especially compared to Sandra and Coco's Peru picture! But it's our little Eli, so I like it.

Mushy Monday...

Hi all! Ernie here to share the Indy weather report...it's gross!!! All that pretty white snow is turning to mush. It's supposed to rain tonight so it will be even mushier. Mommy tried to take some pictures on Saturday night since it snowed a bit more after meetup. Jasmine was caught in the act in this one... It looks like she was a little mad at Mom for taking that picture. She probably won't be very happy that we're posting it!

I was a little cold, so I found myself a nice spot next to the heater (we have central air, but not heat, so we have baseboard heaters). Ahhhhhh...

We were really excited to see Mom when she got home from work today. Ok, we're excited every day when she gets home! Pippin always grabs a toy (the fuzzy soccer balls are his favorites)...

Someone spazzed out when they heard Mom coming and spilled food all over the floor, so Jasmine took it upon herself to clean it up. She is the responsible pug (or maybe just the hungriest at that moment).

Just look at how mushy it is outside! Yuck! Pippin is doing a "nose guard" as he thinks about Sophie...

Yeah? Well I can do that too!

Cold Snowy Meetup!

Brrrrr! We went to Meetup yesterday. It was soooooo cold and snowy! This is on the way there. Should we really be on the road in this weather? Not that Daddy can't drive in it, but there were a few other people we saw who obviously couldn't drive in it! It was a very small group that showed up...the Pug Posse and our 3 humans, Bugg and Pugs and their 2 humans, and Lilo and her humans...but us pugs actually outnumbered the humans 9 to 8! And we still enjoyed seeing each other again!

That's Lilo's Mommy, Jessica, with the red hair and her boyfriend and their little human friend who came to the last meetup...

Pippin and I found a tree to sniff (and Pip peed on it). You can actually see the snow coming down almost horizontally in this picture!

Lilo looked so nice in her little pink fuzzy vest! Her Mommy said it's really a child's vest that a friend gave her, but it fit Lilo and Lilo LOVES it!

I think Pippin was trying to show off his athleticism for Sophie. He knows about Sophie and Salinger, but he still really like Sophie. Boys are so silly...

Sam helped Sophie's Mommy put these little orange rubber booty things on Sophie, Dixie, and Harley. I don't think Sophie was too happy about it...

I'm not sure what this was all about...Ernie is just a strange pug...he went running at full speed across the snow! Everyone laughed. Mommy's right, pugs look funny when they run...

I don't know what was up with Pippin yesterday...even Lilo checked him out!

Daddy and Sam walked over to the river to check things out and Daddy took a picture of Sam...

We saw this house after the meetup...these guys go crazy every year with the decorations. If you look closely, you will see that there is a Santa T-Rex on top of the porch roof...What the heck is up with that?

Well, that was our December Meetup. I wish more pugs had shown up. I missed Jordan and Roxie...they are fun to run and play with! But we were glad to see Dixie, Sophie, Harley, and Lilo (and their humans).
